Enjoyable skiing tours

Lonely peaks. The region between Carinthia and East Tyrol leaves little to be desired with its side valleys and summits, from the Carnic Alps to the Lienz Dolomites. Local mountain and skiing guides can help to plan a tour.

We believe that a stop for coffee and cake or a cool wheat beer is an absolute must after the tour and the winter fun. Speaking of beer: Transfers to and from the guided tours are included, of course! Afterwards, the farm wellness area is an inviting place to relax, before we treat you to a 4-course dinner with some excellent regional cuisine.

Cross-country skiing in Lesachtal Valley

Ten marked cross-country skiing circuits plus two high-altitude trails lead up and down Lesachtal Valley over a distance of around 60 kilometres. The almost 30-kilometre Grenzlandloipe even takes you into East Tyrol. The region’s professional cross-country skiing and biathlon centre is located in neighbouring Obertilliach.

Tobogganing

Lesachtal Valley has not one, but several toboggan runs for typical thrills and spills in winter. Among them is a 7 km toboggan run in Obertilliach and a floodlit one in Tuffbad.

Ice sports

There is an ice rink with curling in the neighbouring village of Maria Luggau. And if you’re in the mood for more, take a day trip to Carinthia’s top location at the legendary Weissensee Lake.
