The farm is the destination. Travelling from north to south, there are several ways to get to Lesachtal Valley in Carinthia. Once you have arrived, simply follow Gailtalstraße to where we are in Liesing. You will find the Genusshof Mesner Aktiv and its apartment house at the heart of the village, right next to the parish church. That’s where the Mesner in our name comes from – the Austrian word for sexton.
Take the A10 Tauern motorway via Kitzbühel and Lienz or through the South Tyrolean Pustertal Valley.

By car
You can get there from Munich in about 4 hours; from Vienna you need 5 hours; from Innsbruck and Bolzano around 2.5 hours.
By train
The train takes you Oberdrauburg or Kötschach-Mauthen railway station, where you continue by bus or taxi. There are also regular express buses from Innsbruck to Sillian/Tassenbach, where you change to a regional bus.
Green comfort: The Carinthia train station shuttle takes you from selected train stations in the canton directly to your accommodation.
By plane
The nearest airports in Austria are in Klagenfurt and Salzburg, and in Trieste and Venice in Italy. You can also fly to Slovenia and travel to us from there.
